La Johnson
With over two decades of experience in the classroom and in leadership, La, the founder of PanzaVentures™, has spent her career decoding the complexities of how children learn. As a National Board Certified Teacher with comprehensive Science of Reading (SoR) training, she possesses a profound understanding of foundational literacy and the critical role it plays in a child’s long-term success. She didn’t just build PanzaVentures™ to provide "homework help"; she built it to bridge the gap between rigorous clinical research and the realities of the kitchen table.
Her work is rooted in a deep-seated love for writing and a mastery of the MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) and RtI (Response to Intervention) frameworks. Leveraging two Master’s degrees—one in Reading and one in Executive Leadership—she approaches every child's needs through a multi-disciplinary lens. Currently a Doctoral Candidate in Interdisciplinary Special Education, she is a scholar-practitioner dedicated to staying at the cutting edge of educational innovation.
Through the PanzaVentures™ Resource Society, she offers more than just academic support; she provides Strategic Intervention Consulting. By integrating sensory-focused tools with Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), she empowers families to navigate the educational system with confidence and transform the "homework hurdle" into a moment of mindful discovery.
Danielle Peña
With over 24 years of experience in the classroom, Danielle Peña brings a wealth of veteran knowledge and a deeply empathetic heart to the PanzaVentures™ team. Her career is defined by her versatility and her commitment to student advocacy, having spent four years in elementary education, four years in middle school, and nearly two decades serving as a trusted advisor and mentor to her fellow educators.
Danielle currently serves as a Special Education teacher for elementary students, where she specializes in creating inclusive environments for neurodivergent learners. A former Middle School History teacher, Danielle has a passion for making the past come alive. She believes that by promoting real-world, hands-on experiences, we can enable the attention and creativity of neurodivergent students to thrive. By helping students connect personally with the events of the past, she empowers them to see themselves as capable of making meaningful changes in the future.
Currently pursuing further Master’s degrees to enhance her practice, Danielle is a lifelong learner dedicated to the "whole child" philosophy. She bridges the gap between traditional curriculum and individualized support, ensuring every student has the tools to succeed both in and out of the classroom.

Miss Kay
Miss Kay brings a vibrant, creative energy to the PanzaVentures™ team, specializing in the intersection of music, performance, and self-regulation. With a lifelong background in the arts—spanning years of dedicated study in both Dance and Music—she understands that the arts are not just a subject, but a powerful means of self-expression and human connection.
A veteran of the Marching Band for five years, including two years in Marching Band Leadership, Miss Kay has mastered the discipline, coordination, and collaborative spirit required for elite performance. As she pursues her degree in Music Recording & Performing Arts, she continues to create and record original music, using the medium to explore the human experience and build a strong sense of identity.
At PanzaVentures™, Miss Kay mentors students in discovering how music can shape their own identities and serve as a tool to regulate the core of their learning. Whether she is assisting with music theory, recording techniques, or performance arts, she empowers her students to use their creativity as a foundation for confidence and academic focus.
